We at Samarpit Seva Sanstha are of the opinion that education is the most effective instrument for economic and social transformation. Our initiatives are intended to facilitate access, encourage high-quality education, and equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to lead more fulfilling lives. We are dedicated to the development of inclusive opportunities for marginalized communities, women, and children, from primary education to skill development programs.
Our Focus Areas in Education:
1. Child Education and Awareness Campaigns:
- We conduct campaigns to raise awareness about the importance of education in rural and underserved areas.
- Special focus is given to enrolling out-of-school children, ensuring they receive continuous education and avoid child labor.
- Parents are sensitized about the long-term benefits of education for their children.
2. Samman Betiyan Abhiyan:
- A flagship initiative to promote girls' education by addressing barriers like early marriage, lack of resources, and social stigma.
- Interactive and engaging workshops are conducted to build confidence and develop skills among young girls.
3. Support for Rural Schools:
- Enhancing the quality of education in government schools by providing resources, organizing teacher training workshops, and promoting innovative learning techniques.
- We assist schools in implementing activity-based learning to make education more enjoyable and impactful for children.
4. Skill Development Programs for Youth and Women:
- Enhancing the quality of education in government schools by providing resources, organizing teacher training workshops, and promoting innovative learning techniques.
- These programs aim to create self-reliant individuals who can contribute to their families and communities.
5. Digital Learning and Remote Education:
- In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we embraced digital tools to provide continued learning opportunities for children.
- Partnerships with technology providers have enabled us to bring online education to even the remotest areas.
Key Achievements:
- Enrolled over 5,000 children in schools across Sukma district.
- Successfully reduced drop-out rates by conducting door-to-door awareness campaigns.
- Empowered 6,000 girls through "Samman Betiyan Abhiyan," providing them with essential resources and learning opportunities.
- Conducted skill development workshops for over 1,200 youth and women, helping them secure sustainable livelihoods.
